Great Hope Group Home is an Oregon Department of Human Services licensed agency providing 24-hour staff supervision and services for individuals 18 years and older. Great Hope Group Home provides room and boarding, monitoring and providing for the health, safety, dietary, behavioral, mental health, and recreational needs as well as coordination with any educational program or employments for each individual.

We are committed to providing exceptional, individualized care within a comfortable home setting. We consider each resident a precious member of our family and we treat them with the love and respect they deserve. Our primary goal is to assure safety and quality care in order that residents can achieve their full potential for health and well-being during their stay with us.
Our Services
We provide assistance with the activities of daily living according to our residents’ individual needs while supporting their independence and enabling them to make their own choices and manage their own lives within their abilities. Services include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating services with home health agencies
- Communicating with families pharmacists and physicians
- Supervision of health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure
- Administering medication
- Guided low-impact exercise routines
- Housekeeping and laundry
- Home-cooked meals including accommodation for special diets
- Assistance with eating, dressing, etc.
- Recreational activities
- Bathing, grooming, and hygiene
- Assistance with ambulation and transferring
- Skin care
- Incontinence
THE PROVIDER
The provider of Great Hope Group Home has extensive leadership experience and has been a chairman of a Christian church for over 10 years here in Portland, Oregon. The provider also has been running multiple Adult Foster Home business for the last six years in Vancouver Washington by giving care for developmentally disabled and people with mental health issues and various challenging behaviors. His leadership and care giving experiences has laid a strong foundation to continue to give care for people with different developmental, behavioral and mental health challenges.
Our Houses
Our custom-designed ranch-style homes were built in 2003 and 1990, both located at north east area in Portland. They have been substantially updated while maintaining their charm and character. The entire ground levels are open and accessible to our residents. We have spacious living rooms with a fireplace and an entertainment. Our sun-filled dining area are easy to navigate with a walker or wheelchair. The patio and garden areas offer a quiet place to sit and watch the birds or enjoy the flowers.
